“Living your best life is your most important journey in life.” Oprah Winfrey
Have you ever wondered why some people are living life to the fullest?
Maybe a life filled with passion, freedom, and of course, wealth.
Why can’t you?
It comes down to your mentors and the people who surround you. We all are a product of our environment. Some of you may have had encouraging parents and teachers along your journey while others may have been less fortunate.
These people may have steered you to go to college, to pursue your dreams, and to climb your way up to the top of the corporate ladder. But if these individuals didn’t give you the nudge in the right direction, would you be where you are today?
The same goes for those who are living a mediocre life. Maybe you were never really inspired to “live your best life.” It could come down to your parents were verbally abusive, or possibly a teacher said you would never amount to anything.
Either side of the coin, these influential people have molded your reality. You are who you are because either the right people or the wrong people planted seeds into your head, which formed your beliefs.
Living Your Best Life Is About the Feeling
To live your best life isn’t just about money. It is about feeling good about yourself to the core of your being. Some of you may have lost your passion for life. But once you start taking care of your mind, body, and your spirit, your life will truly change.
This will give you the solid foundation you need.
You may think you are not pretty enough, good enough, or you are just socially awkward. Someone may have hurt you so deeply that it has caused you to shut down inside.
But it does not matter anymore because you are good enough. Today is your day to have a fresh start. You don’t need anyone to tell you.
You are good enough because you were created in the image of the Almighty.
Deep down underneath all your flesh is a Spirit of the Divine. When you learn to tap into this supernatural power, you will realize you were never alone.
Read these tips on how to live your best life now and follow them every day no matter what. The past is the past. I am here to tell you your future is looking bright. You are good enough, smart enough, and don’t let anyone ever tell you any different.
You just got to learn how to change your limiting beliefs and play the game of life full out. You will struggle at first, but that’s ok. It will take some effort on your part, but if you never give up, you will be able to have that which your heart desires.
Establish Your Vision
“Vision without action is merely a dream. Action without vision just passes the time. Vision with action can change the world.” Joel A. Barker
Too many people are sleepwalking through life with no purpose and passion. The key to being able to live your best life to have a burning desire. To break free of your current situation, you are going to need some fuel to pull you out of your slump.
A vision is an image in your mind of how you want your life to look. This image must be so strong it gives you goosebumps. Start asking yourself questions to come up with your vision.
What would your best life look like it if:
- You had unlimited money.
- You were able to travel the world.
- You were driving exotic cars.
- You were your own boss.
- You didn’t have to wake up to an alarm clock anymore.
- You are changing people’s lives.
- You have more time to do the things you always wanted.
- Your body looks and feels good.
- You are living every day with purpose and passion.
- You have more time to spend with your loved ones.
- This isn’t my dream, so I do not know what moves you. These are just some examples to get the ball rolling. Spend as much time coming up with how you want to live your best life.
By having a strong vision, it will become your fuel to pull you out of bed each morning to take on the world. This vivid picture will keep you going when times are tough and not working out for you. Because I am here to tell you, living your best life will not be an easy task.
Failure is Part of the Process
You will fail. But when you realize it is all part of the process, it becomes easier. See, most people have a fear of failure, which is why you can’t get out of your comfort zone.
Nothing significant will come from living your life on the couch. But once you step your foot on the neck of your fears and go after your dreams, you will obtain greatness.
Let your vision pull you through the resistance and never give up. A bodybuilder knows they must work their muscles out to complete failure before it grows. The same thing goes with success in any area of life.
There will be some rough patches. Hence the reason why there is a small percentage of successful people in the world.
Start cutting out pictures that relate to your vision and make yourself a vision board. The more you see these colorful pictures, the more it becomes implanted into your subconscious mind. It is all about being motivated to change and move in a new direction.
Visualize Your Success
Visualize yourself accomplishing your goals and get emotionally involved. Feel the touch of someone shaking your hand while hearing them congratulating you on reaching your goal. Get passionately engaged with this image in your mind and let it pour through every cell of your being.
It is scientifically proven you can fire and wire new neural networks in your brain. Neurons that fire together wire together.
So, if you think a new thought over and over, you will start rewiring your brain. But it’s not just about thinking positive thoughts and expecting your life to magically change. You must incorporate the feeling.
Thinking backed by emotions equals the feeling, and the feeling is the secret to breaking free from your limiting beliefs. This is how you plant new seeds into your subconscious mind and increase your vibrational frequency. Let your new vision be so strong that it gives you goosebumps when you think about it.
Chip Away with Daily Goals
“If you want to be happy, set a goal that commands your thoughts, liberates your energy and inspires your hopes.” Andrew Carnegie
Having a vision is great, but it usually takes time to accomplish such a feat, and most people don’t have the patience. So, this is where goal setting comes in handy. I just finished running in one of the toughest races in my life. I ran in a 3-mile Spartan race which had 20 insane obstacles, and I obtained my goal.
The spectators don’t realize what it takes to train for one of these races. I spent a year working on my mind, body, and spirit. I had a vision of finishing this treacherous mountain race, but I knew I would have to set weekly and monthly goals before I ran up this mountain.
The same must go to live your best life. If your vision is to become a 6-figure blogger, this will not happen overnight. Even though you have this vision of sitting on the beach typing away on your laptop, you will need some weekly goals to make this happen.
Be Willing To Do The Work
Becoming a successful entrepreneur is very lonely. Because it takes a lot of discipline and not too many people are willing to do the work. Remember the sacrifices you make today will be pressed down, shaken, and overflowing later in your life.
While your friends are out partying, you will have to decide how badly you want to live your best life. Establish goals that keep you on track.
Your short terms goals should consist of a whole lot of personal development. Because let’s face it, you are a product of your environment and there are many dream stealers and naysayers out there.
You got to keep your distance from these energy vampires and protect what goes into your mind. You must realize you can change the limiting beliefs which are lodged in your mind, and it starts by setting goals.
Your first goal is to start reading five pages a day in a personal development book and then increase accordingly. If you don’t have time, then listen to the book on audible. Most people spend an average of an hour in their vehicles. This is an excellent time to prime your mind with positivity.
Turn your vehicle into a university on wheels.
Not only will you need to be setting goals for your personal development, but you will need to be setting goals on your work routine. If you are planning on becoming a professional writer or blogger, then you will need to set some goals on how many chapters or blogs you want to have out at the end of the week.
No matter what area in your life you want to improve, you must first find your vision, and then chip away one day at a time to make it come true.
Work on Your Mindset
“The mind is the limit. As long as the mind can envision the fact that you can do something, you can do it. As long as you really believe 100 percent.” Arnold Schwarzenegger
If you genuinely want to live your best life, then it is your mind you want to work on. Your mind is like a garden, and it must be planted with fertile seeds. You must pull out the weeds and prepare for good crops (prosperity).
The weeds are your negative beliefs that have been planted in by someone else. The reason you may feel you are not worthy of making a 6-figure income or even a 7-figure income is because of your limiting beliefs in your mind.
You have been programmed over time by impactful people in your life, and it has formed your identity. But this is far from the truth. You were formed in the image of the Divine and you are destined for greatness.
This Almighty One did not just plan on you living a mediocre life. You were put on this earth to prosper. But the wrong people have gotten into your head and filled it full of limiting beliefs that are keeping you from taking what is rightfully yours.
It is written in scriptures about the importance of renewing your mind. Your subconscious mind makes up over 90% of your habits and patterns. This mind is in every cell of your body. But what many people don’t realize is this subconscious mind needs instructions.
Command Your Mind For Greatness
You are the master of this mind, and you must command it what to do. It is scientifically proven our brains can be rewired by thought alone. So, ask yourself what thoughts are you always thinking about?
Decide who you want to become and then start molding yourself as if you are the potter working with clay. You must be reborn from the inside out to the person you desire to become. Start planting new seeds and change yourself.
It takes about 30 days to form new habits. Your subconscious mind is in control of these habits and can be changed. It just needs instructions.
I now wake up at 4 am to work on my morning rituals, which was not easy at first. But by me having a strong vision, I was able to move through the resistance and keep moving forward. It took over a month before it became a strong habit for me.
What happens when you form a habit is, your body becomes the mind. So, when I wake up at 4 am, and I still have discouraging thoughts telling me to go back to sleep, my body pulls me out of bed and goes through the motions. I am now on autopilot.
But the difference is, I programmed myself to form this new habit. Too many of you are running on autopilot and are letting your mind control your outcome. You are just going through the motions of your life, and you are missing out on so much.
Once you wake up, you will realize you can consciously make the necessary changes and form new habits.
It can be done. I now think differently, and I feel differently. I am happier, healthier, and more passionate about life. But it takes practice, repetition, will power, and a lot of discipline.
Meditation is the Key
The key to tapping into this subconscious mind is meditation. Through regular practice of meditation, you learn how to take control of your body and your mind. Your mind has never been trained on what to do. When you sit for 20 minutes, you are commanding your body and mind to sit still.
You are now becoming the master of yourself.
Of course, this isn’t an effortless task. But it will get easier. Your mind has been running out of control for so long and just needs you to seal it with new orders.
Everything I talk about is repetition. But this repetition is essential. The more you hear it, the more it becomes planted into your subconscious mind. But you can’t just sit on the couch thinking your life will magically get better.
You MUST take action.
You must continually work on your mindset and whatever else it takes to make your vision come true. This action you are taking shows you believe you can live your best life. Every day you will be tested. You will face dream stealers and many upsets.
But you must never give up. You must always be moving forward towards your dream life.
Use Your Vision To Pull You Toward Success
If your vision is to become a professional blogger then you must see it in your mind as if you have accomplished your goal. Feel it in every cell of your body. Keep fueling your mind with self-development books, meditate, take up yoga, and then blog, blog, and blog some more.
You will not make money at first. It may take months and even years. But by working on your mindset, staying true to your vision, and repeating your daily actions, you will succeed. It is a LAW. It has to happen. It must happen.
IT WILL HAPPEN!
Many people think faith is a religious thing. But this is far from the truth. Faith is believing in something so intensely; you keep taking action day after day, even though nothing is happening. You must materialize your vision in your inner world before it manifests into your outer world.
This is what will keep you doing the necessary work every day. Find your passion, have fun, and of course, be PATIENT. All good things come to those who NEVER GIVE UP.
There will be times where you get knocked down, but you must keep getting up. You must keep doing the work no matter what. This is the reason it is so important to have a strong vision, and a disciplined mindset routine because it will keep you moving through the struggles you face.
Don’t Be A Wisher, Be A Doer
Many people analyzed their life and wished they had done something differently. Don’t let this be you. Instead, make a stand and start preparing for your prosperous life which is rightfully yours.
We all have a fear of failing. But you must realize you need to fail first to build a solid foundation. This is how you strengthen your will power and your mindset. This is how athletes and bodybuilders strengthen their muscles. They must work their muscles to complete failure before they grow.
Nothing good comes with ease. Why do you think lottery winners end up broke after 5 years of begging for their jobs back? It is because they did not do the groundwork. They did not build their temple on a rock.
So many people put successful people on a pedestal but don’t realize the failures these people had to overcome to be where they are today. You all have a hidden talent buried deep inside of yourself. You must find it and then figure out how you can share it with the world.
“I’ve missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I’ve lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I’ve been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.” Michael Jordan
