Many people have been asking the question of how many chakras are there, really? To my knowledge, there are 114 inside the human body and two are outside. But it is best to only focus on the 7 foundational chakras or you will end up getting overloaded with too much information.

As a journeyman electrician, which a bachelor’s degree in science, I have always been fascinated with the laws of energy and the power it provides our planet.

I ended up shifting my studies from buildings and power plants to the amazing life force energy which lives in our very own body.

Over three years ago I began my spiritual journey implementing a strict yoga and meditation practice twice a day, which later led to my discovery of this divine which has been locked deep inside me.

The Flow of Energy in Our Body

It began merely with a tingling sensation throughout my body, shifting from my head to my toes, to my hands, heart, and throat. It never was consistent.

This energy seemed to bounce around randomly, traveling throughout my nervous system to different areas of my body.

After that moment, I was hooked. Since then I have devoted my life to researching and teaching about the spiritual and metaphysical power we all possess, which has been buried deep in the pit of our being.

The funny thing is, God gave us all a gift and put it in a place where no one would ever look. That is beneath the surface of our own skin.

Build Your Temple on a Rock

So, when asked the question “how many chakras are there”, the answer can have many different answers. But the number 7 is the core foundation you must focus on in the beginning.

Chakras are the key to your vitality and until you have built your temple on a rock, you will constantly feel disconnected from your true self. This will take much discipline on your part but will be well worth it in the end.

Start by practicing being a good person and put other’s needs before yourself.

Do unto others as you would want them to do unto you.

Spend time in mother nature and learn how to live in the moment. Stop and actually smell the roses.

You must get comfortable in your own skin and realize that there is so much more to you than meets your eyes.

Take better care of your body by establishing yoga asanas.

Start eating pure foods. Meditate day and night and you will awaken to the truth and it will set you free.

“When the mind is calm, how quickly, how smoothly, how beautifully you will perceive everything.” Paramahansa Yogananda
